Jointly organised by the RSM and the ASA (Anticoagulation Specialist Association), the conference will address challenges, new evidence in thrombosis and anticoagulation and application to clinical practice. Knowledge and information shared at the conference is aimed at improving patient care and outcomes.
This meeting forms part of an enduring programme for healthcare professionals involved in the management of VTE and stroke prevention in NVAF. Practical approaches to anticoagulation challenges will be reviewed, alongside the management of VTE and the role of NOACs in redefining the standard of effective anticoagulation therapy.
The plenary presentations will be delivered by leading experts, and all attendees will be involved with the opportunity to vote and ask questions throughout the day, using interactive devices.
The afternoon workshops will be run by expert facilitators leading an interactive discussion, including examples of local guidance or best practices.
This is a FREE event that is generously funded by the ASA. However all delegates must book for the event to have their place guaranteed due to high demand, - tickets include tea, coffee and lunch.
