Apple has warned that the magnets inside its new handset could interfere with medical devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators.

The iPhone uses the companu's MagSafe technology and the firm has warned that the electro magnetic fields produced could pose a risk.

The warning comes after a study, published in the Heart Rhythm Journal found that Apples new model iPhone 12 could potentially inhibit lifesaving therapy in a patient. The risk applies to all iPhone 12 models as well as all MagSafe accessories.
